The First Brothers
Kindergarten Class
Scripture References:
The Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering Genesis 4:4
Story Summary:
This lesson is about Cain and Abel. The first two brothers were very different. One brother, Abel, was a shepherd who obeyed God by sacrificing his best animals. The other brother, Cain, was a farmer who disobeyed and disappointed God. God spoke to Cain and warned him that he should choose to do right. But Cain didn't heed the warning. He kept up his pattern of doing things his way. Out of jealousy, he killed righteous Abel. I will teach the children to follow Abel's example and give God their best. Obeying God and giving Him your best are keys to a relationship with God.
