Is Temptation Sin? No!

All who are christians are subject to temptations and trials. The enemy of our Lord becomes our enemy when we trust Jesus. The old song, Farther Along, says, "tempted & tried we're oft made to wonder." I think of the song my twin sister sang, "It's me again Lord." It says, "troubles come and I can't find an answer. Here I am Lord." THAT IS IT! We need to let Jesus, through his Holy Spirit, guide and comfort us through our trials. In James, we learn the trying of our faith works patience.  Let's face it. Life will never be perfect until we are immortal, either through death or the rapture. I have never wanted my husband, John, to come back since he died. He's run his race and a crown of life he's won. It is hard in those hours when I feel alone, but, my friend, we must carry on. The Holy Spirit is given to us as our guide and comforter. If you are saved, he is with you but if you are baptized with the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues, it is so much better. He enables us to overcome trials and temptations. He guides us into all things. When we are baptized with the Holy Spirit we are baptized for service. Everyone is called to be a witness. Are you going through something?  Turn it over to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Tears of heartache and sorrow will turn into tears of joy and peace. Jesus never fails. We are all weak but He is strong. The Apostle Paul said he would glory in his weakness so Jesus' strength would be seen.
