How Well Do You Know People?

Let me praise God for a godly Mother and Grandmothers.  I had the privilege of being taught Christian values through the word and prayer.  I was raised in a Holy Ghost filled church.  Thirty two years ago today, my mother went home to be with Jesus.  It is important to have discernment.  We need to be able to recognize evil spirits when they appear.  Some people appear as sheep but inside they are as ravening wolves.  Jesus knew what Judas would do.  True friendship is hard to come by but there is one who sticketh closer than a brother and he never fails you.  You can rest assured that even when the times get rough, he will always do what is best for you.  I was talking about the Good Shepherd the other night.  He would correct a wayward lamb over and over.  The lamb would get in trouble and cry out and the shepherd would rescue him.  Then he would stretch the lamb's leg out, and break it with his staff.  He would bind the broken leg and carry the lamb on his shoulders until it was healed.  That is how much Jesus loves us.  He paid the eternal price for our salvation with his life at the cross of Calvary.  Just as a loving mother must spank her child, so Jesus must correct us for our own benefit.  God is love but sometimes love must be tough.  In John 10:14, Jesus said "I am the good shepherd. "  Read Hebrews 13:20-21 and 1 Peter 2:24-25.  The 5th chapter of 1 Peter is instruction for the pastors on how to lead Jesus's sheep.  All we like sheep have gone astray at some time in our lives.
