It was a wonderful service last night to be with my brothers and sisters in Christ to celebrate what God has done for us in the year 2015. We enjoyed the music, food, and God's Word. Tonight I planned on being home early to be with Larry, my husband, at mid-night because he was sick and could not go, but something happened. The Holy Ghost came in through Testimony from Brother Beard who was Pastor Dendy's pastor before he came into pastor ship. You could tell there was so much care and love in Bro. Beard's voice and he was so happy with a big smile on his face. He said, "I thank God for Brother Dendy." He told us of the day that our pastor went before Brother Beard and asked, "Do you think I am ready to start preaching, and Brother Beard said yes! " But this is what got me, When he said I will miss him. That tells me there was someone who let go and told from his heart what he felt even though Brother Dendy would some day leave his church to step out for God into his own church. Also Brother Beard said," I am proud of Bro. Dendy and also what he has accomplished here in this church and the new building." What truly hit my heart in my own thinking was what Bro. Beard had accomplished the same thing as well. What Bro. Dendy accomplished was not by himself and  Sister Dendy but Bro. Beard also accomplished the same thing for had it not been for our pastor's pastor we all may not be sitting in this church together tonight. My New Years Wish is that we as a church can show this type of love for our brothers and sisters in 2016 as these two preachers showed for each other. Thank you Lord for making me stay a little longer than I was going to for this was a blessing to me. Isn't that what a testimony is suppose to do, warm the heart ? Larry was in bed asleep when I got home. Thank you Lord for your blessings on me. Bonnie

As  you know my little brother died several weeks ago. What you don't know is that he killed himself. His death wasn't such a shock. He'd been sick for  over  three years. with each solution the doctor gave , he only  became  worse with another problem to deal with. There is no excuse for suicide. the  word  says thouu shalt not kill. You see we were not raised together. My dad  got  a  seventeen year old girl pregnant. It wasn't rape but she was under age.  He believed her when she said she was over  eighteen,  My mother was forced to divorce him; so he could marry her.Mom, Jane and I, stayed in a 16 ft., travel trailer for three  months in Las  Vegas. I know god had his hand on us. Mom kept us in church and lived a godly life befor us. I loved my dad but I praise God he wasn't around much. Between  the alcohol, brutal temper, and bouncing from the church back to alcohol and back to church. Back and forth many time. There was never a time that we weren't in church. The  five boys  weren't so blessed. they had  very little stability and only seen  a christians example of a  dad who was tossed in the winds of life, a doubled man unstable in all his ways. It is hard to have a faith in a loving God when you never had a descent example of how God really is. It was hard enough for me to trust a heavenly Father, with what little example I had in a dad. It was ten times worse for them who didn't evev have a godly mother, much less any example of the love of God.  I felt it necessary to give a background to help understand the situation. I'm not excusing anyone; only giving their reasoning. That doesn't make their decisions right. Every person born has a free will to choose how they will live their lives.  In the beginning God created man in his own image and breathed into him the breath of life and man became a living soul. Genesis chapter 2&3.  Every life will give account of there deeds, on judgement day. Romns 6:23 says the wages of sin is death (what is sin? The sin that keeps you out of heaven is not having Jesus in your heart.) but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ...Wcich will you choose wages or God's gift? His love..

We have been praying for Kathy for cancer since about July.  Read Rhonda's update! Thank you Father for your divine healing hand! Bonnie

Rhonda reported this:

Here is the update on my sister Kathy who has been fighting Lung CANCER. She went to the doctor today and got the wonderful news that her cancer is almost all gone now. She is through with Chemo and on Monday she will go to see about starting radiation. The radiation is to try to keep it at bay and prevent it from going into the brain. She has been very strong about it all and she has left it in Gods hands. She said she knows that prayer got her to this point and asked for us to continue praying, So please lets keep praying those who will. Thank you all in advance,

Lillie came home from the hospital this afternoon. Praise the Lord!

She is doing a lot better and I just want to thank all of you who prayed for her. God heard and answered those prayers. Thank you for praying for Ruby too. She is so happy to have Lillie home.  Please continue to pray for them both. Lillie is weak and has to eat a special diet for a while, but for now she is doing as well as can be expected. Love and Blessings to you all...... Helen

Lillie is doing better today. They had to give her 2 units of blood during the night but her count was up to 14 this morning. They took the nose tube out and said her feces is clear, no blood, I thank the Lord for that! They mentioned going down her throat with a scope and doing a colonoscopy but the Dr said it was risky and Lillie said no to both and I was glad. 45% of people who have a colonoscopy end up with complications or they have died from the procedure by the Dr. puncturing the colon. She is being moved from ICU to a room. Praise the Lord!!  Thank you so much for your prayers for Lillie and Ruby.  Helen

Note* Lillie is in her 80's and her sister in 100. We've been praying for Lillie to get better so she may have more time left with her sister. So she is better and we thank God for answering prayers.  Thank all the prayer warriors who have talked to God for Lillie. Bonnie

We, my husband, niece and myself, went fishing on Monday, 7/6/15 to Ray Robert's Marina. We were on the North side of Denton on I35 W. when an 18 wheeler came over from the right lane to the left lane where we were. Larry slamme4d on the brakes and moved over to the left as safely as he could. I screamed, "Oh Jesus!" Larry said nothing but I could feel Mandy bracing herself against the back of my seat. I could say lucky we were but not hardly. The driver of the truck speeded up and Larry was slowing as much as possible when the truck was only about a foot ahead of us. My niece works for the police dept and she called in and reported his actions to the police in Sanger, Tx. He never stopped or slowed down. She gave the police the driver's license number, truck trailer number, who the truck owners were and that he was speeding, and the exit number he had just passed. I hope they stopped him. I saw he was a heavy set guy with a pony tail. But I just want to give God the glory for if it had not been for Him I don't think we would be here today. Yes, we went on fishing and caught 24 fish. So we were blessed again. THank you Lord.

Before I came to the Lord my Nanny prayed for me. I am so grateful that she never gave up on me, even at my worst. God doesn't give up on us and we should never give up on praying for our children. For we walk by Faith not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7. Speak Gods word on them. We can bless or curse our children with our words. Love them the way God loves us, unconditionally. I praise God that His mighty hands are upon my children.I hesitate to say that they are mine because I gave them back to God a long time ago. Keep serving God and allow Him to minister to the children He gave to us.

I am so grateful to those that listen to God and are willing to be used by Him. Brother McDonald and his lovely wife came to visit us yesterday. I put that prayer request on here last week and I received my answer! God is so Awesome and if you ask, having faith, He will answer us in one of three ways....no, yes or wait. The Lord promises that He is giving me a house! I am overjoyed :-) Thank you for your prayers!!!!

Greetings in the name of our Lord JESUS, King of kings and Lord of Lords.
As we enter this new year, many have a new years resolution.
The first and foremost, we praise the Lord JESUS for keeping us through last
year. I have peace of mind and joy that only God gives. My goal is to work
towards my goal of a million souls to win for my JESUS. Pray that I reach my
goal this year.
Speaking of praying, this is a very important part of my goal. If we pray
together for this goal we share in the victory. God said that we were mem-
bers one of another. Our goal to win the lost for the the Lord. James 5:16
says, for us to pray for others that we may be healed. If you need healing
pray for another' s healing and God gives us double. He heals the one that
we are praying for and then he meets our needs, our prayers fervently, in
faith gives us double for our efforts. It isn"t that we shouldn't pray for our-
selves , but when we put others as ourselves GOD sees the love that He
commanded us to have is present and alive in your heart, especially when
when we are praying for one we don't know, or don't like. GOD's word is
true and HE is faithful. I want to see you in heaven. I'll pray for you.

Two gentlemen today give their hearts to God, Jenna and Sister Adriana lead them in the sinners prayer. Praise his name, we are really excited that God is on the move. We took hot chili and hot chocolate along with the word of GOD, which was icing on the cake. It was a little cold but when your handing out Bibles and praying and seeking God you really don't think about it. Just knowing Gods people are taken care of for now is worth it. When we got there and set up we where about 30 strong there was 25 kids, teens, and elders form another church, we introduced ourselves and the church we represent and set up next to them. They brought chicken soup and water I think they liked the hot chocolate more than the homeless. All and all, it was fun and exciting can't wait tell next time. GOD BLESS

The doctors Monday morning said that David was having a stroke. He and I went to the ER where they started running tests. I called for a prayer chain. I know that there were at least four different churches praying for him. All of David's tests came back negative. I know that God entervened and stopped the stroke from happening. I thank God that David is regaining his strength. God is AWESOME!
I want to thank you all for the prayers that you sent up for David and me. Yes, me, I needed extra strength to go and do. Again, thank you all very much.

It was in the late 70's, My 3 sons were young. God blessed me with Tammy, she was about 11 at this time. I had an nerve problem, called T.I.C. Neuralgia.on the right side of my face. The pain was so intense that my eye would draw outward. I managed these attacks with shots of B12 . It took 2 shots a week for 3 to 4 weeks to stop the attack. With each shot the pain lessened. It was about 2 to 4 weeks between attacks. The closest thing to a cure was major brain surgery and that only would cut the nerves to where I couldn't feel the pain. I didn't want anyone to mess with my brain. The thought of cutting into my brain, unless it was life or death was out of the question. These rounds of attacks went on for months. We had decided to move to Texas, from Florida. We had been there about a week and another attack hit. I was standing outside the telephone office on the phone and the pain was so bad. A hot tear ran down my right side of my face, I said," oh Jesus." The pain left instantly. I have never had another attack since. That has been over 35 years ago. The doctor said that they could very little for me. Just the shots or maybe surgery. Through the name of Jesus I'm cured. I give God glory and praise for all He's done. As time goes on I will testify of all the miracles God has done for me. Am I super special to God? No More than any other faith believing, blood bought Christian. What He's done for one He'll do for all. One must ban obedient, believing Christian. We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, [Rom. 6:23], but if we confess our sins , He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteous.[1 John 1:9]. When I was born my folks were on the evangelistic field. I've been a Full Gospel Church almost all my life. I thank God for that. Even in the 7 years i as a very disobedient child God took care of me. God is faithful. Genny Hebert

I would like to take some time to Praise God for this new summer job that He provided for me. I have new friends that are in need of God's word and prayers for their family. I realize after listening to some of the struggles that others face, mine aren't as rough as I seem to think. God commanded us that we are to put others before ourselves and love our neighbors. I love all of those that God places in my path, good, bad or indifferent. No matter what happens in life, I am reminded that it is not about me. It is about GOD and adding to HIS KINGDOM!!

The other night I had just fallen asleep when a demonic presence came into my dream and tried to torment me with things that Satan must know I fear from the past. It was in the form of an alien just like the kind with the big oval head and eyes from movies and was trying to molest me (I was molested when I was young). I have also had dreams of other things I fear like not being able to scream or move or wake up or dying or monsters. But even in my subconscious mind, Jesus is a very present help in time of trouble. If I just dream of speaking His name, every vile monster flees away and my dream switches to grander and more beautiful scenery, or in this case of the demonic alien, Jesus woke me up at the very moment I said His name in my dream. My eyes just popped right open that instant and I was so thankful. Then I got to spend some precious time in the Word with Him and was so filled with the peace of basking in His presence the rest of the night.

I found that when praying and people or the situation is not changing. Maybe, I should change the way I am praying or what I am praying about. Our prayers are powerful even if we can't see the change at that time.

I am so thankful for Gods perfect will in my life! I applied for a summer job that I was certain must be the will of God. I prayed and gave the whole situation to God. I have learned in this journey not to "jump" until God says so. I unfortunately did not get the job. I was frustrated but then I realized that God knows what is best for me and if I am going to surrender all, I need to deal with the answer that He will give me. So, a door for another job was presented to me in the same school district where I work now. I had an interview today and I got it immediately! Everything worked out and I did not have to stress or worry about it, because it was in Gods hands from the start. Thank you God for always knowing what is best for me and for teaching me that if I wait upon you, everything will fall into place the way you would have it to!!!

Hebrews 13:5-Let your conversation be without covetousness: and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. God is with even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death. It was on the streets of old Dallas business district and there was a group of us there to feed the homeless there that stayed in the old deserted buildings. I was standing there with my trusty guitar singing about my dear Lord. A man pulled a knife out and was coming at me trying to cut me. I was content and had no fear because my Lord gave me perfect peace. I can't say as much for the man behind me or the man that had gotten his shoulder smashed by this man's boots, just prior to this.By God's grace and mercy I just kept singing and playing. After a couple of minutes this guy just closed his knife and sat on the sidewalk and listened. My God is good. You don't have to be famous just an obedient servant. He gives the faith and trust Him for the rest to get us through every situation. Worry and fear are tools the devil uses to distract us and defeat us. In the trials of our lives let us keep our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Time is short and we have very little time to do the work of the Lord. Let us pray one forone another that we will be focused, faithful, always abounding in the work of the Lord.

I want to praise God for the valley! He allows us to be in the valley so that we will draw closer to Him. He desires fellowship with us and He wants to increase Himself in us. I praise God that even though my prayers have not yet been answered, He makes a way for me to get where I need to go. I praise God that I have friends that love me enough to "taxi" me. I pray blessings upon each and every one of them. GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME...even in the valley!!

We had such a great service yesterday, 10/06/2013.
Ever so often our Pastor will be lead by God to do things a little differently.
This is what happened yesterday.

We were all called down to the front of the church. Pastor explained that
some one or more of us were not using the gifts that God had given us.
I know that I am one! The pastor asked a deacon to anoint all with oil, then
others came behind and prayed for all individually.

Don't think that prayer does not work. I'd say 90 % or more were touched by God.
There were prayers, tongues and tears everywhere. It was beautiful to see and feel
the spirit of God all over the church.

Aren't you glad God doesn't throw the clay away?

Thank you Father for still loving and forgiving us. Amen!!

I would like to PRAISE THE LORD for always being there when I need Him. Sometimes I make choices that are not in Gods will, and when my life falls apart because of these bad choices Jesus is ALWAYS there to pick me up, dust me off, take what is left of me, and put me back on the straight and narrow path. I have learned to trust Him more and more each day with everything in my life. I AM NOTHING WITHOUT HIM!!!

Last night at church, our mid week service, was a little different than usual but it was awesome!

We usually have some great songs, a few testimonies then Pastor Dendy preaches.
But the Holy Spirit was in the house. How great it was! We submitted the prayer requests for our members, and those that visit sometimes and also for our Web site prayer requests.

We had a few songs then it seemed like the Holy Spirit waved over all of us. Tongues and interpritations came, then some said a few words then anothers read the word. It was as though most of the people said something or read something but when it was over, it all came together, with the pastor reading the word and explaining a few things.

We are so wonderfully blessed that our Savior loved us enough to give His blood on the cross and still loves us today. As long as we love Him and stay in His will we will always have His blessings. It feels good!

A few years back my husband and I were talking and comparing smaller churches to larger churches. To each his own, just go to church!

My granddaughter about 8 yrs. old then joined in the conversation! To our surprise, but we were glad she was paying attention. She had gone to a very large church with a friend one time just to see what it was like.

A little later on during the conversation she said, "I don't like big churches!" I asked ,"Why, Sis?" She said you could get lost and it takes too long to get to where you want to be. And no one even knows your name!

We told her after a person attends the larger church for a while they get use to where everything is then they'll not get lost and learn peoples names. She said, "Mamaw, my friend has gone there two years and she doesn't know anyone, not even the preacher."

This same granddaughter went out of state to visit her maternal grandmother. While she was there they attended this certain church that had programs for everything that was done and on a certain time.

After their service was over her grandmother stated that the pastor really felt the Spirit this morning he had tears inhis eyes. My granddaughter told everyone, " That ain't nothing, you should see Pastor Dendy at my church he runs down the church isle and around the seats when he feels it!"

Have you ever felt the spirit move like that? My granddaughter is grown now and is no longer in church but she will be back because God's word says train a child the way they should go and they'll not depart. They will come back to God. I thank God for the chance to take my grand children to church that they may take notice of things as my granddaughter did. Those are the things that will bring her back in.

And thank you Pastor Dendy that you make an impression upon our kids with the Holy Spirit so they remember what He is. And that small churches like ours is more closely fit together as a family of God!
