Message from the Pastor

Isa 5:16  But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

Isa 6:3  And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

Isa 43:15  I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.

Hab 1:13  Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

Jas 1:13  Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

1Pe 1:15  But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
1Pe 1:16  Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Rev 4:8  And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

And in everything we give thanks because God is Holy. "Praise Him His People"  Love from Pastors...

"Rev 11:17  Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.    All about Him!

1 Corinthians 12;27

God places members in His body as He desires. As He places the members, the gifts that have been imparted to them by the Holy Spirit are to be used for the benefit of the body. We also see in the Word of God that all the gifts in the world mean nothing if you do not have love. Love is the catalyst that makes the gifts meaningful and productive. Do you truly love today? I hope to see you in Sunday School at 10:00 A.M..

Christian Doctrine God (Part 6) Attributes:

Class Teacher ~ Stephanie Booth Juniors Class for Sunday Dec 15, 2019

Who Is He?
God Is Omnipotent
➢ What Does This Mean?
• God is all-powerful. God is able to do anything that is in accord with His will and nature.
➢ Where Do We See This in Scripture?
• Nothing is “impossible with God” (Luke 1:37).
• “With God all things are possible” (Matt. 19:26).
• God describes Himself as “the Almighty One” (Gen. 17:1; Is. 1:24; II Cor. 6:18; Rev. 1:8; 19:6).
• “Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you” (Jer. 32:17).
• The gospel is the “power of God” for salvation (Rom. 1:16), which includes the power of God seen in Christ’s resurrection from the dead (II Cor. 13:4).
• God’s power can also be seen as He unfolds His plan for our lives (Eph. 1:11; Rom. 8:29-30).
➢ What Does This Mean for Me?
 In the face of difficulties, we must remember that we have Christ’s strength which enables us to “do all things” (Phil. 4:13).
 No prayer request is too big for God (Phil. 4:6). Yet we must learn to pray in such a way that desires His will (not ours!) to be accomplished. Great comfort comes from knowing our requests are in the hands of an Almighty God. Great peace comes from knowing He will accomplish His will.
 As we look at the world around us, and as we examine our own lives, we need to have a heart of praise and thanksgiving at how God has displayed His power in so many awesome ways!

I would like to say “Thank You,“ to everyone that prayed for my son, Roy, during his surgery. He got to come home Saturday about 1:30 p. m. The doctor originally said he could go home on Friday. But due to something the surgeon didn’t do well enough he told Roy to stay another day. So we got him back home and in bed today. Saturday. But he had an awfully big incision. Thank God for his mercy and grace.
