Moses started to doubt God because the people were getting treated worse than before he got involved.  God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:  And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.  And God showed Moses miracles to encourage Moses not to give up.  We should always remember that God's timing isn't always instant.  We should never give up on God.
