No matter what comes and goes. You keep pushing forward in prayer and in the word of God.  God will respond to those who look to Him day and night.

The persistent widow parable shows us God and the unjust judge are opposites!  Rather, if even an unjust judge will sometimes give justice, how much more will the righteous, loving judge of all the earth hear the persistent cries of His people. As we await His coming, we should remain steadfast and persistent in prayer.
