I Found a Place
In sin I kept on going t'ward the depths of dark despair, Each day my sin kept growing and my days were filled with care; But then I heard of Jesus and I went to Him in pray'r, And by His grace I found a place among the blest.
I found a place to lay my burdens down, And by His grace I hope to wear a crown; His boundless love will drive away each frown, For by His grace I found a place among the blest.
Alone and brokenhearted, with no friend to care for me, For friends had all departed, life was hopeless as could be; Till one day Christ imparted His own love and made me free, And by His grace I found a place among the blest.
I found a place to lay my burdens down, And by His grace I hope to wear a crown; His boundless love will drive away each frown, For by His grace I found a place among the blest.
My heart was sorely aching and I knew not what to do, My faith in man was shaking and the world was looking blue; I turned, all sin forsaking, now I know I'm going thru, For by His grace I found a place among the blest.
I found a place to lay my burdens down, And by His grace I hope to wear a crown; His boundless love will drive away each frown, For by His grace I found a place among the blest.
