The first thing you would say is money.  After all is said and done, people want love and peace. I realize that they try to get real love. Lust is not love. That usually lasts about 2 years. Control is not love. Marriages are not made in heaven, but God guides the wife and husband to work things out. 1 Corinthians 13 is a good;  example. In Isaiah 1:18 says to come let us reason together.  I know this is written to people to come to God.  But it is also very good advice for a good marriage  There are pitfalls and .Men and women are created different. It would be very boring if we were all the same. We work at pleasing each other, without becoming a puppet. Never go to bed  angry.  If nothing else agree to resolve the Issus  as quickly as possible, cool off  calm down and sleep.  A good night's sleep does wonders. Think things through, calmly, not allowing anger to direct your reasoning, be fair. Marriage is we, and should not be only satisfying only one, but work out  for the good of both. Many times  you must agree to disagree, The best council is the Bible. It tells how to treat people,(wives and husbands should be #1, next to God.) The Book of  Proverbs is a very good place to start. Even if one were not a believer, they would be a very good people person if they followed the Bible principles. America, the greatest country on earth was founded on Bible principles. This is why people must stand up and vote for the candidate who comes closest to the Bible principles. We were never created in America to be led by a dictator. The Preamble says, "We the people.", are we not the people, citizens of  America? Now we are to the of peace.  My friend sings a song, 'The only real peace I have, O Lord is in thee, You will never know real peace until you know the love of God in your heart.  In this world there is only temporal peace that may be lost in a moment.  GOD  1st
