Fellowship Hall

There is so little unity in the Christian world today.  Even the denominations can't agree.  How in the world can we come together as one, if we don't agree on the basics of Christ. Naturally we won't agree on everything.  But you are not saved unless you have been forgiven and Jesus is your Lord.  We must believe that Jesus is the Son of God, born of the virgin Mary.  He came to earth as a man (even though He was very much God.) Paid the ransom for  mankind, at Calvary.  Died and rose again on the third day. He  is in heaven awaiting the Father to say, go get Hid bride.  These things are basic.  Ephesians  4:23   And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;  4:24  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.  4:25  Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.  4:26  Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:  4:27  Neither give place to the devil. 2nd Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  When Jesus enters into your life, attitudes change, likes and dislikes change.  People you once hated you like. The whole world seems different.  The body is one, but many members.  1 Corinthians 12:12  For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.  1 Corinthians 12:14  For the body is not one member, but many.  I've seen how a body worked so in tune with each other that in 8 hours we did the work that the manager of the plant, said would take 24 hrs.;  he couldn't believe his eyes.  We were bailing clothes to take into Mexico. We started at 10:00 p.m. and we were ready to pull out in our bus at 6 a.m  that morning.  People of God, we need to get our lives closer to the Lord and work with our brothers and sisters for Christ.  We won't agree on everything but we will agree on the basics and agree to disagree on the rest. gena
