Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.  If when we pray be patient and wait on the answer,  many times we get ahead of God and just when He is fixing to answer us we go to plan B. Just be of good courage and pray for strength to carry you through it and God will show up and reward you with an answer .God bless you and may God be with you.
