HE THAT ENDURES!

Matthew 24:13 He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.  Stop and think;  if you have to endure, it has to be something unpleasant.  That is not meaning your spouse.  I've heard so many talk about how miserable their spouse was.  Jesus said in Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness:;  and be content with such things as ye have,  for He  hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake  thee.  That is a promise that we can live on.  Jesus didn't say that everything would be good.  It is the hard times that we need Him the most.  If we only realized that  actually we need Him all the time. He wants for us to spend  time with our Lord, Jesus.  When it seems like He isn't there, usually He is in the back ground working out for our benefit. There are times we go through hardships to get us to the place to where He can use us. Look at Esther. She became the Queen Persia. That might seem so  glamorous, but look what she had to endure.. She was called to deliver the Hebrew people from a stupid incident and King Saul let King  Agag's pregnant wife get away.  She bore a son  which kept the Agagite people alive , which hated the Jews.  Haman was a descendant of that Queen.  Saul disobeyed God's direct command to kill them all and destroy everything, which he didn't do. rebellion, greed and outright defying God's command, caused him to lose the Kingship.  The 31st. Chapter of 1 Samuel tells of him and his sons horrible death. Jesus said, " be not dismayed, fear not, only believe." Trust in Me and I will see you through. He never fails us. In us , is where the problem is. Revelations 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold,  the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried:  and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown of life.  I don't want to burst your bubble, but I do not want you to believe the hype that if you are a Christian, everything will go right, no sickness, no trials, etc.  Jesus said that in this world you shall have tribulation; but fear not, I have overcome the world. John 14:26,27- says that Jesus has left us his peace, and he would not leave us comfortless, but the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,(Holy Spirit),. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let it be afraid..We having flesh, which wars against our spirit. which desires to do the will of God.  Good people do suffer.  We are not yet in this flesh ready to go to heaven.   We must do our best to be ready at any time Jesus may call us. It is like the 10 virgins in Matthew 25:4, some had plenty of oil, (Holy Spirit), and some were lacking. I pray that you will consider this as I intended it; not to condemn, but to help you get ready for Jesus's coming. I want to see you in heaven  Gena  (Genny)
