How many times have we heard the question, " Who Am I?" I am really asking for another reason. Who you are doesn't matter. What matters is who you are in Christ Jesus. Only one life will soon be past, only what's done for Christ will last. Do we try to rule God like , rubbing a lantern and the genie pops out and grants your wished. I used to say it this way, "God is not your sugar daddy."  I'm not going into great details of what a sugar daddy is, but I will say that it is indecent. God is the creator of all things. He's the almighty one.  The living God, who never sleeps. When God created man, He gave them a free will.  You could choose Him or reject Him.  It is your choice. God set out a plan in the beginning. This plan  consists of Him being our heavenly Father.  He said he wanted people to love Him of their free will. Every ruler has a plan They rewarded the good ( in their eyes,) and punished the evil ones.  No other god can come close to God, the creator. No other god lives forever. No other god loved his people so much, that He gave His only son for a ransom for our souls.  Jesus , His only begotten son.  Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  11:29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  God is love and patient but there comes a time when He says," enough." But even in that He tries to woo them. God will not go against His plan. He is fair. But He is also sovereign. That means that his way is right. All other gods are in their graves, whether in the ground or mausoleum. Someone who is so awesome that sits in heaven and still He lives in our hearts. I can't explain it, but I know it's true.  Jesus made the way when He died on Calvary. He took thirty nine stripes on His back for healing. The song says, " he left the splendors of heaven , knowing His destiny. On a lonely hill called Golgotha, There He laid down His life for me." If you don't recognize the song, its, " If that isn't love." In Jeremiah 17:9-the heart is deceitfully wicked, who can know it? 10-I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to  his ways. and according to the fruit of his doings.  Jeremiah 18:1-6 speaks of God sending Jeremiah to the potters house to learn a lesson of God's mercy. How when we are marred, He takes us and molds us again. Jeremiah 17:14-Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;  save me, and I shall be saved:  For thou art my praise. This should be our prayer each day. How can anyone say no. We give Him our lives. We aren't perfect, but He helps us to be what He wants us to be;.  If we ask and believe We need to depend on Him for all that we need, I want to see you in heaven. He is just a prayer away.  Genna
