Fellowship Hall

When everything goes wrong and it seems we are at the end of our rope, we need to tie a knot in the end and hang on.  A  few years ago my niece put this song out on recording.  It was a country song, but just a couple of words  changed and it would be a great message to the church.  When our spouse dies, the car breaks down, the money situation is poor, to say the least, the stove shoots fire out and dies, the side by side powers out and refuses to work, the funeral and loved ones which come out of the wood work and present themselves guardian, or don't care what happens, just don't bother them.  Of course there is the emotional merry-go-round and all of the other things unmentioned to deal with, like loneliness, etc.  BUT, DON'T DESPAIR, I'VE GOT GOOD NEWS FOR YOU! God is faithful to His own.  If you are not saved; I can only tell that Jesus is the answer.  I can pray for you.  There is life after death.  Life must go on.  I have asked why, at some point in my life.  I feel now that I was rebirthed to a new life.  My life is changed  and this is a new beginning.  Every day is new, but  I still have to deal with the after affects of the old life.  God has been  so faithful and has given me such peace.  I must admit that when the side-by-side went out I was pretty upset.  Now I just laugh about it.  There are so many things to deal with that I didn't mention.  It is always that way because to a certain degree every situation is different.  But I am here to tell you our hope is in Christ Jesus.  He will see us through.  Hebrews 13 :8 says Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.  He loved us so much that he died that  we might have eternal life.  He hasn't changed.  .  We are never alone.  Verse 5 - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  Heb 13:6  So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.   Heb 13:7  Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.  There are many situations in which we come to the end of our rope.  Not just the death of a loved one.  Maybe you've been told you are going to die, if you are saved, remember that is our ultimate goal, to go to heaven and inspire others to make ready  to go.  Let me leave this advice for all those who are on top of the world, so to speak, please heed my advice.  Make Jesus your Lord and Savior now, before those turbulent times come, To those who are in times of disaster also, Trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, He will see you through every situation.  I'm not going to say THAT EVERYTHING WILL TURN OUT LIKE YOU WANT, but will be for your best interest.  I want to greet you in heaven, I'll be there, I pray, you will be there to.
