Fellowship Hall

As a rule I generally receive the key point from scratch.  This time God moved on me to recap the wonderful message that our pastor preached on last Wednesday night.  It cannot be exact but the main concept and some of the scriptures he used and key points that I noted.  I'll start with Ecclesiastes 12:13  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.  Just this scripture alone is a message in itself.  Serving God is not complicated when we listen and do what he tells us.  Trusting God isn't hard when we just do what he tells us and let him, in faith , do the rest.  Our flesh gets in the way and wants to do things our own way.  Boy, that really gets us in a worse pickle, so to speak.  Deuteronomy 10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,  And now Israel, Let me say right here; true Christians are the adopted Israel,:  Not taking their place, but the grafted in which is the Gentiles;  we will be taken to the Marriage supper of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, at the rapture.  Then the time of the Gentile dispensation will end and Israel Re-instated.   Not to say that there aren't Christian Jews now, there are many.  As a whole we make up the majority of this dispensation.  During the tribulation the Jewish people will be the majority.  Back to Deuteronomy 10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul.  Really when we consider all the benefits: you can't really loose.  Deuteronomy 28:1-14  I'm going to mention these in short because of my space, all of these blessings shall come on thee.  blessed in the city, field, the fruit of thy body, and ground; increase of thy any.  malls Blesses going in and coming out, and all that thou said to do.  People of the earth shall see you are the Lords, blessed, and be afraid of you.  The Lord will open his good treasure to you.  chapter 30:10-20 continues v 10.  If you will hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God these promises will be near thee, in thy mouth, In thy heart to do it.  15- I have set before thee , this day; life and good, or death and evil.  and you would not; I call heaven and earth to record if you refuse.  I set this day before you life and death, , blessing and cursing: choose life that you and your seed may live;  20- That you may love the Lord thy God and obey his voice and cleave to him.  for he is thy life and length of days; that you may dwell in the land god has promised CHOOSE LIFE, , Jesus AS LORD.
