When I was a kid, (child not a goat) I used to watch a program called "Lost In Space".  It had a robot that would call out, "warning, warning" whenever danger was near.  You know the Holy Ghost does pretty much the same thing.  He tries to get our attention and tell us that there is something that will cause harm to us.  I  realize that the Holy Ghost is not a mechanical device, given to the saints to guide and protect from harm's way.  He lives inside of us and it seems that a lot of times we have a harder time hearing him.  I just wonder if the writer of that program had any knowledge of the Holy Ghost?  We need to pray every day and ask the Holy Spirit (Ghost), to help us to hear him and heed his warnings.  Ask him to help us do right and good.  That is his job, but we must ask.  He is Got the Holy Spirit, living in us.  In the Old Testament he would come upon people for a purpose, but now we are so privileged to have him dwell within our hearts.  When we are saved we receive the Spirit of  Christ, through him. This is not the Baptism of the Holy Ghost;  that is a greater union between us and God's Spirit.  He does so much more for us than I mentioned.  It would be a good thing to study about the attributes of the Holy Ghost.  The facts that he can pray for us when we know not what to pray for.  We need to know how to please and not reject his will.  He can be grieved  Ephesians 1:13-In whom ye also trusted, after that ye have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation;  after that ye first believed, ye were sealed with the holy Spirit of promise.  14- Which is the earnest of our inheritance, until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory, Ephesians 4:30 says not to grieve the holy Spirit of God, whereby we are sealed unto the day of our redemption.  Jesus is coming soon.  We must have the oil of the Spirit to be ready, Matthew 25. Warning! be ready.
