Fellowship Hall

We do things for so many different reasons.  To us, it might seem reasonable; but, what does God think.  After all, in the end  he is the only one that matters.  Proverbs 12:15 says that the way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.  Proverbs 21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.  Why do we go to church, or do good ,or act right, etc?  To be seen, or for prestige or recognition? Zechariah 7:5 Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?  The word of the Lord came unto the prophet and said execute true judgment; show mercy, and compassion on your brothers and oppress not the widows, the fatherless, the strangers, nor the poor; and let none of you  and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart; but they refused.  Are we being ambassadors of Christ? Are we seeking to build his kingdom for the wrong reason?  When we sing the praises of God, is it to lift him up or are we just singing?  Come on, am I the only one who has to check my heart and make sure that the things I do are for his glory and honor? I have to seek God daily and ask the Holy Spirit to help me do good and right,  I want to go to heaven and I want to see you there.  My goal is to help others to see what God has dealt with me about.  I need him to make it and you do to.  There is only one way to heaven and that is through Jesus, God's Son.  Why do I say this over and over,, because there is still ones who have not accepted Jesus as their personal savior.  How? We believe that he is the son of God;  born of a virgin, died  and was resurrected and sitting at God's side making intercession for those who pray and believe and serve him.  You will never regret it.  God is our Father.
