As being Holy Ghost filled, tongue talking, Bible believing, Heaven bound  Christians; many people  wonder why, and some even ask why we stand for the Word of God and Jesus Christ  as our beloved saviour.  That is not all those who go to church, but those who  are striving to be more like  our Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten  Son of God, Born of a virgin, died on Calvary's cross, sitting at the right hand of God , making intercession for his saints.  We're not perfect yet; but, we strive to do right and do what Jesus asks us to do.  John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him  should not perish, but have everlasting life.  Two words stand out, believeth  Webster says that this means to accept, live by and rely on (not just I  believe and live like the devil)  The  word  should means that if they  believe they will live by Jesus' example, because they love God.) That does not give a person a license to sin, but if we do we  (1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins , He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.) Jesus said , I will go away and send you another comforter John 14:16-19) Jesus said in John 20:22 "receive Ye the Holy Ghost." This was a command, not a request.  this happened in acts 2:1-4. Acts 1:4-8  said that the promise of the Father was to give them power, Holy Ghost power and ye shall be witnesses.  Acts 2:38-39 Repent and be baptized, every one of you, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  39 This promise is to you, and unto your Children and to all that are  a far off, even as many as the Lord God shall call.  I don't have the space here to completely give this article all it needs If you will get a hold of GLO ministries  and ask for the completed article  by name.
