There is a song that our youth do sign language with; It is called, "I will trust in you".   This is the theme of our article today. They did this song this evening.  The chorus goes something like this; When you don't move the mountain I asked you to move. When you don't part the waters I want to walk through, When you don't answer the question that I asked you, I will trust, I will trust in you.  What a great message for the people of God.  Trust in the Lord when  it seems like that he is ignoring you. Not So. God is moving in your behalf, behind the scenes. My niece , Melanie won a recording contract . One of the songs she recorded was "Tie A Knot And Hang On".  It was a country song, but just a few minor changes and it would be a gospel song. Let's face it, there times when we don't get the answer from God.  Hebrews 13:5  Let your conversation be without covetousness and Be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Don't talk foolishly, but  trust in God, be content and hold on. God's time seems late but he is always  on time.  Don't faint but tie the proverbial knot and hold on.  Just think when Daniel prayed  and 21 days later the angel brought him the answer. He had battled to bring him the answer from the first day.. I think of another song that says, I don't need to understand, I just need to hold his hand. We don't have to understand to trust God. We just need to know that God only does good for his saints.  There is a block to our prayers if we have something between us and  God. We always need to search our lives and say as David said, "see if there be any wicked way in me".  Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honor to the wife, as the weaker vessel,  and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
