Fellowship Hall

Jesus warns His disciples that the world will hate them because it hated Him. He reminds them that He has chosen them to come out of the world's system of things. He said they persecute me and they will persecute you because the servant is not greater than His Lord. Those that hear Me will hear you also. He spoke of them that hated Him and said it was because they hated His father. He stated that they no longer have any covering for their sin because He revealed His Father to them. They chose to reject Him and His works. He was hated without a cause to fulfill prophecies of old. He says to His followers that when He is gone, the Comforter will come to them because He is being sent by the Father. He told them that the Comforter is the Spirit of Truth and will testify of Him. He shares with them that they will bear witness of who He is and what He can do because they have known Him from the beginning. They have seen His works and heard His words. What about you? Have you seen His works? Have you heard His words? Are you willing to bear witness to what Jesus has done and is doing in your life? We are here for that very purpose. He gives us all we need to stand for Him, to speak for Him, and to live and love through Him.
