We are going to look at a very familiar scripture and take each thought and analyze it. 2 Chronicles 7: 14. Just a little history, King David had just Died and Solomon is taking his rightful position as King, which was ordained by God. He has brought  the  people together and sacrificed unto the Lord and giving his inaugural speech, so to speak,. He is gathering ,in unity, the children of God , encouraging the nation to follow God's ways, as his father did. He has built the Temple for God to dwell in. He prayed  and the sacrifices were accepted of God, The fire came down from heaven and accepted the sacrifices and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. ( 2 Chronicles 6:37,38, and 7:1,2)  7:14 IF MY PEOPLE- This  is originally to the Jews, WHICH ARE CALLLED BY MY NAME, This makes it two-fold. John 1:11 He came unto his own and they received him not. 12  But as many as received him, gave He power to become the Sons of God. Galatians 3: But no man is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident,  " the just shall live by faith". 12 says the law is not faith, 13  says that  Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, becoming a curse for us,...14 "that the blessing of Abraham might come unto the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES- loose their self pride, and submit ourselves to God. James 4:7 Submit yourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. AND PRAY James 4:8  Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hearts ye sinners and purify your hearts, ye double minded. and SEEK MY FACE.  9 says to lament and mourn and weep... James here describes seeking God very well.and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS.  Acts 3:19 says to repent and be converted (changed). THEN After we have done our part God will do his. I used to say "we do our 5% and then God Does his" I'm saying that it is our 1%, now. He gives us so much more than we do. God's people get so much more than they give. If you only give 50% of what he asks , we do not receive his full benefits. It is God's will for us to receive his best ,but, if we only give a part; how can we receive his best. It really is up to us. In Deuteronomy 30:9-16  the verses 9and10 say that The Lord will make you abound,... If you obey the voice of the Lord your God.. and HEAL THEIR LAND.  2 Chron. 7:13 says when I shut up the heaven with no rain, send locust and pestilence. upon the land , I will not do it to you, because you repented.
