The way to what? Some may ask.  Jesus is the way to God, the way to eternal life, the way to heaven and all else that is incorporated in being born again. What gives Jesus this right? I'm glad that you asked. When sin began, mankind needed a Savior to ransom us to from the sin to face a Holy God. Jesus, on the cross of Calvary  and the discourse that led to Calvary, made the way for sinners to be saved. The price of redemption was prophesied in the Bible. He fulfilled every prophesy that was written concerning  what it took to redeem us.  John 14:6 Jesus said, ' I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man can come to the Father , but by me.( read 1 Timothy 1:4-6) Colossians 3:16,17 Whatever you do in word or deed , do all in the name of the  Lord Jesus, giving thanks unto God the Father through  him (Jesus) 16  says Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom teaching  and admonishing one another , in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Acts 4:12  There is salvation in no other name under heaven given  among men  whereby we must be saved. I do believe these scriptures make it quite clear that  Jesus is the way to eternal  life, God , heaven., Jesus is the truth. John  6:68,69.  Prior to this Jesus had fed  5000 +  walked on the water and his disciples went to the other side in a boat  and found him  He preached about eating  his flesh and drinking his blood, which is a metaphor concerning communion. They took it literally, not spiritually. They turned away from Christ, Jesus is asking his disciples if they will leave him also.V.68 But Simon Peter answered him, " Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69 And we believe and are sure that thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus is truly the way, the truth & he  quickens our spirit when we are born again..2 Timothy 1:10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has aboliished death & brought life & immortality to light through the gospel..13 Hold fast to the pattern of sound words, which you have heard from me faith & love which are in Christ Jesus..Jesus is our lord, if we are Christians, ( or should be) Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  John 10:10 The thief cometh but but to  kill, steal & destroy. I am come that they might have life, & that they might have it more abundantly. Jesus not only came to give life, but more abundantly.
