As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he  Proverbs 23:7  We need to examine what we really are thinking about. Do we think bad thoughts, such I can't do certain things or it is too hard. We  become what we think. If we think  that we are dumb we hinder our full potential. Jesus tells us in Paul's writings, Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ which strengeneth me. John 15:5 I am the vine,  ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him,. the same bringeth forth much fruit for without me ye can do nothing. Tell a child he's dumb and he will have an inferiority complex.. On the other hand , if you tell a child  he's smart and can do things; he has a better  ability because he has confidence in himself. It is true that every person has God given abilities, but, we can't do our best without self confidence. When we  do what  God calls us to do  and trust God to help us do  what we can't we  will do great and mighty things through him. There was a mother that had a child that the doctors said would be nothing but a vegetable. He would never walk or anything. She started walking him , by doing the work and holding him up. When he got taller, she would strap him on her back. It took years but he got to where he could walk.  His sight wasn't good .He heard people sing and imitated them. It sounded exactly like that person.  He was sat at a piano and could play , even Mozart after just hearing it once..He could barely walk, or talk but could imitate any song  on the piano and by voice.. All because his mother believed and encouraged him. It took a long time but her reward was great...She encouraged him and worked with him because  he couldn't do it for himself. It is like the little train going up the steep hill., I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, and he did. Now what about You?  God is faithful . We must believe and think God's way.
