There are shortcuts to giving someone the way of salvation, but I like to use 8 scriptures.  8 representing new beginning. #1.There is a God who loves the world, man that he created the Heavens and the earth., the world. John 3:16 For God  so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but the world through  him might be saved.  18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed on the only begotten Son of God.   All people are sinners, lost without God. #2 Romans 3:23  For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. #3 Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ  our Lord. Jesus is the only way to heaven  #4 Acts 4:12  Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven whereby  we must be saved.   John 14:6 Jesus said that he was the way.  #5.   Ephesians 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of  yourselves; it is the gift if God 9.-Not of works lest any man should boast. #6  Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.  #7  2 Corinthians 7:10  For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation, not to be repented of , but the  sorrow of the world worketh death.   #8 Romans 10:9  That if thou wilt confess  with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and  shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.   When a  person has believed , repented by faith ; they become a new creation in Christ Jesus, old things  have passed away and behold all things are become new. A new person. That doesn't mean necessarily everything is perfected, but is becoming perfected. We are a work in progress. Our minds are changed and we will not think of things the same way.  God is working in us.  How far and how fast we change is up to us. God works through us as fast as we let him change us. We  have such a great opportunity to become like  him. No we can't do it ourselves, Jesus paid the price and gave us his spirit to be a helper, if we let him.   My call is to love like Jesus loved. I'm not there yet but working through his spirit to become what he would have me to be.
