You may think that I am writing this because  our Sister in the Lord, Kathy, There are reasons that things happen to people passed away this week, not so.  Actually the Lord gave this to me even before she went home.  Our  Pastor has been doing some real special messages this past week.  Several of the scriptures stuck with me.  The Lord led me to these for answers to the title questions 1.  In the book of Job ; we see that Job went through a lot of hardships and mental and physical pain.  To show to the devil that not all people will curse God, and   die when they are tried.  "the Lord said to Satan, have you considered my servant Job? God took the hedge of protection and told Satan, "you can do anything but take his life.  In all this Job didn't sin.  2.  correction.  If we hold on to things of this world, God tries to help us see the error of our ways If God deals with us a correction rod, so to speak, we are sons not illegitimate children.  Proverbs 19:18, 29:15,17,13:24.  3.  being in the wrong place at the wrong time.  , 1 Corinthians 15:33 says that evil communications corrupts good manners.  It rains on the just and   on the unjust.  Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God delivers him from them all.  Psalms 34:19.  Psalms 119:50 says thy word comforts me.  When my mother passed away I would read the words of the Lord, usually he sent me to the book of Job.  James4:4 says that friendship with the world is enmity with God.  4.  When we become really rebellious god will do everything  he can to keep you from going to hell.  1 Corinthians 5:5 says he will turn your body(flesh)  over to Satan that your  spirit might be saved.  that explains why a lot of Christian people suffer through so many things.  It is not God's will that any perish, but, all come to repentance.  2 Peter 3:9so many times God has to show us tough love.  it says that correction is grievous for a season , but in time yields the fruitful deeds of righteousness.  We don't do good deeds to gain point from God.  We strive to be like him 7 the more we do ,the more good deeds we produce.  All our righteousness is by faith in Jesus Christ.  He is or righteousness.  We are referred as the sheep of his pasture.  Jesus said I am the good shepherd.  Sheep are dumb, stubborn animals.  We need to realize that we need Jesus help.  He is our source.  We need to trust and   obey.  He loved us so much that he paid the price for our redemption.  do you really think that God makes exceptions for you? God's word is the same, yesterday, and   forever.  Because he loved us so much, he is faithful to his word.
