Fellowship Hall

Be not deceived God is not mocked.  For whatsoever a man soweth, so shall he reap.  So many people are deceived now days.  They don't want to believe the truth of God, become unteachable and deceived.  Romans 1:21 Because when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful: but become vain in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened.  22 Professing themselves to be wise, they become fools.  23.  And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into a image made like to corruptible man, and to birds  and four footed beasts, and creeping things.  24 Wherefore God gave them up to uncleanness through the lust of their own heart, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves.  25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature, more than the creator, who is blessed forever, Amen.  26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.  27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned into their hearts one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving the recompense of their error which was meet.  28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.  They might do the things mention above but they always  have traits from  the rest of this chapter.  29-32.  I'll mention them: filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetous, maliciousness, envious, murder, debate, deceipt, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, proud, boasters.  inventers of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affections, , unmerciful, who know the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death.  they take pleasure in and them that do the same.  A lot of it starts with the person being disobedient to parents.  That is why people need to correct their children and the parent be the head and the children under their authority.  Respect, is something that is very important.  If the children don't respect you and authority, they will not respect others, including themselves.  This is God's way to teach them to be good upstanding children, and give honour to their parents and God.  We need to search our hearts to see if there be any wicked ways in us.  The old song 'To Be Like Jesus, ' should be our goal.  Not just to win something from God, but to love him with all our hearts.  When we do we obey him and obey the laws of the prophets.
