In the beginning God made man,  and set the man in the Garden of Eden.  The man and woman only had to not eat of the tree of good and evil and the tree of life.  There was no sin Genesis 2:15-17 says that God took man and put him in the garden of Eden.  God commanded man to  eat of every tree of the garden, ; but the tree of knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat: in that day ye shall surely die.  3:1-3 says that the serpent was subtle,  he even deceived Eve.  V.  12-13 She gave  Adam to eat and even being told by God,  he ate.  Sin began and man needed a savior to redeem him because they knew what sin was and God put them out of the garden so they couldn't eat of the tree of life and become as God,  eternal.  Colossians 1:20 and Having made peace through the blood of his cross,  by him  to reconcile all things unto himself; 24 Who now rejoice in my suffering for you,  and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake,  which is the church: Hebrews 9:22 and almost all things by the law purged with blood; and without the shedding of blood is no remission.  Psalms 22: gives much of the prophesies that Jesus Christ suffered at Calvary's discourse that Jesus suffered that we might have eternal life.  .  Mark 15:31 and the scriptures were fulfilled,  which saith he was numbered with the transgressors.:
