Fellowship Hall

We  are studying "Hero's of Faith".  We have just finished  the last 5 weeks studying Joseph.  This week we are starting Ester.  Her Jewish name is Hadassah.  An orphan who was taken by her cousin Mrdekia, which guided Ester through all her times of testing's and purifications.  Ester is a foreshadow type of Christ, our deliverer.  God placed her in the kings household to deliver the Jews from the descendant of  Agag, who was killed by the prophet, because King Saul disobeyed God's command to destroy everything.  Agag's wife was pregnant and escaped to build the people, the Agagites, which hated the Jews.  500  years later Haman, the Agagite, still hated the Jews.
