Fellowship Hall

This is a subject I have learned a lot about.  It has been a journey.  It is easier each time you do it.  I'm not totally there but I am a lot closer than I was.  Forgiveness is for your benefit, not the one who hurt you.  Usually they just go on and forget it.  I will give you an incident that happen to me.  How God brought me through.  I was living in New York and the pastor of our church had let us put the electric in her name.  All went fine, I paid my bills.  Until one day she got angry at me and had my electric turned off.  It was in the middle of winter and we were all electric, including the water.  We lived almost 20 miles out of town and the weather was freezing.  We had no heat, no water No way to do anything.  God spoke to my heart and said to forgive her.  I realized that I needed to forgive her and  I had settled it in my mind that I was going to.  I really didn't feel like it.  I cried out to God and asked for help because I didn't feel like it.  I was abused and very hurt.  Jesus just loves for us to ask for help when we are willing but not able.  It took a while but, Praise God I stayed with her when she was in the hospital, twice.  In the Lord's prayer it say's, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.  Love covers a multitude of sins.  Jesus said on the cross, forgive them, for they know not what they do.  We also need to forgive and in time forget.
