We had already been through to the 4th. chapter, but We have new classmates and we decided to start Esther over to catch them up. Queen Vashti had refused to obey the King  Ahasureus. All the young beautiful virgins are brought from all over the kingdom. Hadassah (Esther's Jewish name), was one of them She was ordered by her cousin Mordacai, not to reveal her people. God had a plan to deliver his people from the decendants of Agag, once and for all. Esther was favored above all of the others and she had been chosen Queen in place of Queen Vashti; who was vanished  for her disobedience of the King's command.
