Behold: God's Judgement And Mercy
Acts 12:20
Herod, who had lifted up his hand against God by killing and persecuting followers of Jesus, sat to make a treaty with Tyre and Sidon. At the meeting, seated on his throne, he allowed himself to be worshipped and called a god. The Lord smote him and caused him to be eaten by worms and he died. The word was being preached and was growing and multiplying. John Mark was helping Saul and Barnabas. Godly men were praying and fasting in Antioch. God spoke to them and told them to separate Saul and Barnabas from them to go and do the work they were called to do. They laid hands on them, prayed, and sent them out. Are you willing to seek the face of God for yourself and others? Are you desiring to find your place of service and humble yourself to do it? Are you willing to put to death your flesh? Our Lord is seeking such to serve Him in this day and hour. I hope to see you in Sunday School at 10:00 A.M.
