After a favorable response of the Gentiles to the gospel, jealousy once again is displayed in the hearts of the Jews. They begin to persecute Paul and Barnabas who shook the dust from their feet and went to Iconium. The unbelieving Jews did all they could to discredit them and turned some Gentiles to their way of thinking. In the midst of this adversity, Paul and Barnabas spoke boldly and did signs and wonders in their midst. Then, hearing they wanted to stone them, they fled to Lystra and Derbe. Do you have integrity? Can you stand and proclaim the truth of Jesus in adversity? Will you? I look forward to seeing you in Sunday School at 10:00 A.M..
