So many times we have troublesome problems that we pray about and it seems like God isn't answering. Don't blame God for what you caused. When we go astray from God's ways, we are in rebellion. We think that we should only reap good things but think about this for a minute, if you destroy your body with drugs or other sins that harm us, destroy our lives, and we are maimed, should we blame God when we did it to ourselves? There is a law of sowing and reaping. It is a natural law and a spiritual law. Whatever we sow, we will reap. When we get saved, the Lord forgives our sins, but we always reap the consequences of our sin. God is sovereign and He has given us His Word to obey. John, my departed husband, smoked and never quit until five days before he went home to be with Jesus. It was not God's fault. God was willing to set him free, but John would not give them up. God was merciful because his suffering before he died was not long and drawn out. Hosea 8:7 says that "he that sows to the wind reaps the world wind." Galatians 6 :7 teaches us "Be not deceived, God is not mocked; whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." God knows the very depth and intent of the heart. Heaven is worth it all. God loved us so much. We will reap good if we faint not. Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven and His righteousness and everything else will be given. God knows us completely.
