Behold: Standing Your Ground
Acts 16:31
After being miraculously freed from prison, Paul and Silas preached to the jailer and his household. They were all saved and baptized. When it was morning, the judges sent to release Paul and Silas. Paul sent back word to the Judges that they, being Roman citizens, had been beaten openly and were uncondemned. They needed to come and release them themselves. This caused the Judges to be afraid and they came and begged them to leave their city. Paul and Silas went to the home of Lydia, saw their brethren, comforted them and left the city. How about you? Can you comfort others during or after hardship? Are you willing to let all your thoughts and actions be about Jesus and for His Glory? I hope to see you in Sunday School at 10:00 A.M..
