Fellowship Hall

The Apostle Paul continues his testimony to the Jews.  They refuse his words and want to kill him.  The Chief Captain orders him to be taken from the crowd to the castle.  He was bound and taken to be scourged.  Paul asked the Centurion if it was lawful to scourge a Roman citizen that had not been condemned.  The Centurion reported this to the Chief Captain who ordered Paul unbound and did not order him scourged.  He was fearful of violating Roman law.  How about you?  Are you fearful of violating God's Law?  I hope to see you in Sunday School at 10:00 A.
