Fellowship Hall

The original definition of christian meant "little christs" because they were followers of Jesus.  There are many today that are christian in name only.  I know some who call themselves christian.  but live like the devil.  It is not everyone who crieth Lord, Lord, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  If everyone who calls themself a christian lived according to this.  we'd see the world stand up and take notice.  There has been so much sinful flesh that causes the name of Jesus to be a reproach.  I know that everyone is human and makes mistakes.  A christian should make things right.  Being human is no excuse to sin but it is the reason we sin.  We have faith in what Jesus did on the cross of Calvary.  We cannot make ourselves holy, but daily we trust  that Jesus is working in us through His Holy Spirit.  It isn't what we do in ourselves.  but what we trust Him to do.  We grow from grace to grace through faith.  We don't obtain things through works.  Our faith produces works because we love the Lord and want to do what he has called us to do, be His witness.  We are living epistles known and read of all men.  My prayer is to be a credit to the kingdom, not a disgrace, because I serve a God of love who is just.  He will not change.  He  offers his grace and mercy to whosoever will.  Come unto me all ye that are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.  What kind of christian are you?
