They That Wait Upon The Lord

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.  There are several types of waiting.  Some want to do their own thing and just let God do what He will.  We wait when we are being His servant and do His bidding when He tells us.  We can wait on God's specific timing to do something you are praying about or that He has ordained for you to do.  In Esther, Mordecai asks her "who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? ".  Many called people are like spare tires.  Spare tires must be ready the moment they are needed.  When our Master says it's time, they are ready to do His bidding.  Being a spare tire isn't a job that puts you in the forefront but it is needful for the kingdom work.  Sometimes, you feel like God has forsaken you, but it is just that He has given you a very difficult task whose timing is critical to the success of His work.  Many times, it seems these people are ignored by others.  The enemy tries to tell them they are useless but he is the great deceiver.  We must not let our feelings rule any situation.  We choose to walk in the spirit where our fleshly feelings and thoughts do not matter.  Jesus said He always listened to His Father and did what He said.  Jesus said "I do what I see my Father do.  " We must learn to do what we see Jesus do, no matter what others say or do around us or to us.
