'Tis ended now, thine earthly life, With all its cares, its hopes and fears, And thou art freed from sin and strife, To live with Christ thru endless years.

'Tis ended now, the vict'ry's won, And thou hast laid thy weapons down, And from the hand of God's own Son, Thou shalt receive a fadeless crown.

'Tis ended now, the gloomy night, Thy soul is free forevermore, To praise the Lord of life and light, Where ransomed ones His name adore.

'Tis ended now, death's dreadful sting, We praise our God for matchless grace, And tho' to thee in love we cling, We would not call thee from thy place.
